Outside of work, she has been involved with many volunteer groups over the past 10 years. In 2012 she co-founded ALL IN: Together We Rebuild and Recover, a volunteer group that assisted in Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. She is currently volunteering with Rising Tide Capital and Philip's Academy Charter School. She is a proud supporter of UNICEF, The Naya Foundation, Women for Women International and Holt International. Andrea has a profound belief that her purpose in life is to serve others.

Nothing in this world means more to Andrea then her family. She would like to thank her mother, Tony, Jen, Antonio, Daniella, Gianna, Dominick, Aunt Christy, Uncle Erich, Erich, Max, Arnie and Jill for always being an endless source of love, inspiration and support. You are my heart!

Why She Started The PrettyPout

Andrea believes beauty products should uplift women, not shame them. By founding The PrettyPout, she aims to disrupt the market that too frequently uses negative marketing tactics to manipulate women into buying their products. Profits from the business will enable her to invest in the future of women around the world. There is strength in numbers: She wants to form a community of women that supports this mission and each other.

What Other People Think of Andrea

"The first thing I think when I look at Andrea, my precious daughter, there has been evidence of this pure heart since she was a little girl. She was always sweet and affectionate with endless love for her family and also her friends. She is always willing to pitch in and help people. I have been disabled for 23 years and she has always been patient, attentive, LOVING, kind and never let me feel like a burden in any way. Andrea is self-aware and talks about ways she can improve herself or how she can handle situations differently. I admire this so much!! There are many more ways to tell you of her generous, loving nature but as you can see even today through The PrettyPout, she intends to help many more people by contributing a percentage of her profits. She said, "I was thinking... I want to help women see their inner beauty and I have to find a way to do that..." Hence The PrettyPout is born!" - Andrea's Mom, Cindy

"There are many facets to the passion that she possesses. She's very passionate about her family, her work and especially helping people. In a world where most people step on each other to get higher up the ladder, she has always helped in empowering others. She wants to see others succeed, not just herself. She always provides a helping hand whether it be through family, community service or life coaching. Not many people care about other people as much as my aunt and it's truly inspiring to see somebody who believes in others as much as she does." - Andrea's Nephew, Antonio

"Andrea is the brightest ray of sunshine to ever enter any room. She has more intelligence and knowledge than anyone I know and always shares this with a smile and a little giggle. When we worked together, whenever I had a question or a problem she would nonchalantly reply - I can do that." - Edie H.

"A friend is someone who helps you when you're down, and if they can't, they lay beside you and listen. Andrea has been a loyal, trustworthy and kind friend to me since the day we met. Though we no longer see each other as often as we once did, I know I can rely on her for anything. After college, I started working at the company Andrea worked for (she actually interviewed me). Though we both had many successes there, after about a year and a half, I came to realize it was not the right fit for me. Instead of being resentful or selfish by influencing me to stay, Andrea agreed with me and helped push me in the right direction. She introduced me to her networking contacts, reviewed my resume and cover letter, and offered as much helpful advice as she could give (which was A LOT). I truly feel I am where I am today because of Andrea. I am very happy with my career, which has lots of growth and potential ahead. I feel truly blessed to have Andrea as my first manager. Without her, who knows where I would be." - Danielle M.

"Andrea is a real woman! She knows who she is and isn't afraid to be that person, regardless of the norm. Andrea is a voice for women! She believes that women should have the same opportunities as men and should be treated as equals, and not passed up for any opportunity due to gender. Andrea is a fighter for women and herself. She does not let obstacles define her or keep her down, she is a fighter and eventually prevails! Andrea aspires to be the best and succeeds at it because of her dedication, determination and generous heart! She wants those around her to succeed just as much, and is there to help, support and motivate!" - Jules K.
