The PrettyPout’s mission is to provide beneficial, high quality products that are safe to use while seeking to connect, inspire and empower women everywhere. The cosmetic company pledges 10% of net sales to the non-profit Women for Women International.
“When I look at the marketing my nieces and other women are exposed to in this industry, I worry about how it may impact them, the people we are supposed to be admiring and how certain marketing tactics can sometimes make us feel,” Andrea Marie Geroldi, founder and CEO of The PrettyPout said. “I researched and learned so much about the psychology behind these marketing strategies and I thought, ‘This isn’t good enough for us (women).’”
The PrettyPout's cosmetic line is made with nurturing ingredients including aloe, rosehip oil, marula oil, and shea butter. The PrettyPout handmakes their lip balms and lip scrubs which double as a mask as well. In addition, the company sells hydrating lip glosses and fair trade accessories: make-up bags, gratitude journals and reversible headbands. The PrettyPout plans to introduce organic lipsticks and paraben-free lip liners in the coming months.

As we grow and scale, we will be able to pledge additional revenue to other amazing organizations what are supporting women's equality and safety.”
